US Senate 2010 Elections - Time for Improvement

Harry Reid (D) Nevada

Politics - 1967

US House - 1982

US Senate - 1987

Reid has been in politics for 42 years.  In 2008 he received a liberal rating of 70% from the Americans for Democratic Action.  Other independent ratings include a 100% rating from NARAL in 2001.  As Senate Majority Leader, Reid is responsible for driving three “stimulus” bills through the Senate in the past 12 months, all which handed trillions of dollars over to special interests of the Democrat party.  Reid has been involved in several scandals, most involving property he has owned and legislation under his sway.  His rating has been as low as 19%, and is currently running in the low 30’s.

There are 36 US Senate seats up for re-election in 2010.  A shift in just a few states will shift the balance of power in the Senate, and could bring us closer to being a free nation once again.

The list below contains the names of Senators who we believe should be voted out of office in the 2010 election.  We are of the opinion that their Neo-Socialist positions have damaged the fabric of this country, and they should no longer be in a position of power.  All of them have a liberal voting record and support liberal positions.  We’ve also noted the length of service of each of these people, most of whom have been in office since before MTV, satellite television, and some even before color was introduced onto the small screen.  The coming election should be the end of their careers as elected officials.

Arlen Specter (R)  (D) Pennsylvania

Politics - 1965

US Senate - 1980

In politics for 44 years and is considered pro-abortion though he only received a 50% rating from NARAL.  He stood against the impeachment of Bill Clinton, and has a higher approval rating among Democrats than Republicans in his home state.  His most recent and egregious action against this county’s freedom was his turn-coat position in support of the latest “stimulus” package.  Specter was one of three Republicans that changed sides in the Senate and helped drive this nation toward Socialism.  The bill included the framework for nationalized healthcare as well as pork for multiple left-leaning agenda items.
